Cosmos Innovation is an AI company accelerating process development across the trillion-dollar semiconductor industry. The company is backed by Eric Schmidt’s (ex CEO of Google) Innovation Endeavors, Xora Innovation (the early stage arm of Temasek, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund), Two Sigma Ventures, along with Demis Hassabis (the CEO of Google DeepMind, Nobel laureate 2024), and Tomaso Poggio (MIT). The founders, Vijay Chandrasekhar and Joel Li, are PhDs from Stanford in AI and Semiconductors/Solar.
Since inception, Cosmos has built up core AI platform technology that massively accelerates the process development journey from lab to mass production for the semiconductor/solar industry, enabling building new technologies at a fraction of the time and cost it would take using conventional methods.
Cosmos Innovation was featured as a World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer in 2024, and has received numerous accolades and features in leading venues, including Fast Company, Economist Impact top start up 2024, and APAC Cleantech 25.
