Julia Dragon, Ph.D.
Biography
Julia consults clients in the semiconductor industry. Her client portfolio extends across the value chain, materials & equipment via Fabless/Foundry/IDM to the customer side.
Julia supports clients mainly on strategy and operationalization. She has experience leading all sets of strategy engagements, from due-diligence-style sprints to board strategy. In terms of strategy implementation, she has supported semiconductor clients across a wide range of functions, including R&D productivity improvements, manufacturing cost transformations, Digital & Analytics transformations and organization design.
Julia has always been passionate about the intersection of technological, economical and regulatory forces. She brings this passion to each of her engagements and clients. Recent focus areas include semiconductor industry regionalization and Competitiveness, (Gen)AI fueled growth opportunities for the semiconductor industry and compound semiconductors including SiC and GaN.
Julia holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt. She lives in Darmstadt, together with her husband and 2 daughters (born 2022+2024).
